Frantic parenting simulator

Think of the Children is a simulation game that will have you take on the role of a parent. In this game, you are charged for bad parenting, and it is up to you to prove your innocence. To do so, you will play through various flashbacks of mishaps with your children.

Think of the Children is designed as a four-player co-op game, but you can play it solo. However, it is advised to play it with someone as the challenge can be too difficult. There is so much going on, and you will constantly multitask.

Parenting is hard

Think of the Children is a simulation game that lets you play as a parent. However, this is not the usual life simulator that will have you live a happy family life. It started with you being hauled before the court for endangering your children's lives on various occasions. The prosecutor presents evidence for your crime. To prove your innocence, you will play through this evidence to change it.

The game will take you to various locations and events, including a camping trip, a birthday party at the park or the zoo. Each situation will give you tons of things to do, besides keeping an eye out for your children. The controls are simple and only require a few buttons. Depending on how well you do in each level, you will be graded from A+ to an F.

Specific to your grade, you can unlock rewards that can help you avoid jail time. However, getting a good grade will be difficult as each situation requires numerous pairs of hands. This is why it is better to play the game with three of your friends rather than going at it solo. There are too many things on the checklist, and you have six children to keep an eye on.

Disaster for solo players

Think of the Children shows fun and funny depictions of being a parent. The game turns a simple family event into a silly one, with the events happening on each level. However, it lacks any form of balance as far as difficulty is concerned as it tasks you with seemingly impossible objectives. There are so many things to do that you can only clear them by playing with friends.

  • Supports up to four players
  • Various locations
